Is the Art Society Dead?

Years ago, the Visual Arts program had an active students club called the Art Society.  Now it seems that there is a growing interest to form a new student group dedicated to the Visual Arts.  Alison Evans, one of our terrific VARTS majors, is imagining a group which will organize student exhibitions, trips and activities.  If you are interested in helping get this student group going - please contact Alison!

  1. Hey everyone!
I am Alison, and definitely want to get this club going if other art students are interested. I know not everyone looks at this blog frequently, so if you see this please remind our other VARTS students (minors majors or anyone who is interested!). The club can be what ever we make of it, so please let me know what you think?! I am hoping to get a lot of students involved, so that the Visual Arts can make more of a presence on campus. In order for this to be successful I will need lots of help. I hope we can get students from every grade involved, so that once the club gets going, it won't fall out as it has in the past. This can be a great way for us to have fun as a collective group, and get additional funding towards art related projects or trips!
